Hi, my name is Scott, the super buff, bearded guy in the picture…
Have you ever time traveled?
Well today I’m going to take you back in time to the beginning of my journey that led me to create the most powerful Safe and Vault dealer CRM in existence, otherwise known as.... VaultView.
It all started back in 2016. I was a sales guy for a local gun store and I saw that my area desperately needed a private Safe and Vault dealer. It took some hard work, time, research, and a small loan out on my house but I eventually was able to open my dealership. During this time of my life I was a full time School teacher so I sold safes during breaks and after school.
Over the next few years I worked hard to build relationships with my customers and dealers and saw an amazing 40% growth on average year over year. I finally got to the point where I was able to hire help and eventually moved into a larger space.
Even though I felt like I was seeing a lot of success, deep down, I knew there was more to be done. I knew that I could grow faster and help more people but I just couldn’t find what I was looking for.
I hired team after team to help me figure out how to manage my sales opportunities and grow my business but time and time again, I was let down. I spent thousands of dollars, and nothing, all I got was a whole lot of headache and missed sales opportunities.
I eventually realized that there was no one who knew the safe and vault industry enough to build me a tool that would work the way I needed it to work.
I needed a customer relationship management tool that was built for my store, that was built to communicate with my customers. With a small team I needed it to become my best employee that kept every opportunity in check and would not allow anything to slip through the cracks.
That’s when I went to work, waking up early, staying up late, building the dream tool for Safe and Vault dealers only. A machine that would automatically follow up with prospects, track my sales opportunities and give me an easy and simple way to communicate with my prospective clients and current customers and... VaultView was born! (I still get a little emotional just thinking about it)
